Welcome to Junie and Jack.

There is so much waste in this world, and I believe that something beautiful doesn't have to be made from new when there are so many pre-existing materials.

I design, re-work and create unique hand made gifts and one-of-a-kind clothing. My passion lies in upcyling using handmade felt, embellishment, applique and embroidery; and my textiles, buttons and haberdashery are either recycled from local sources, or from my vintage collection.

My childhood was dotted with trips to jumble sales and scouting through for second hand lovelies with my mother who taught me to sew, knit, crotchet, embroider (the list goes on!). It is still my guilty pleasure to rifle through a charity shop and with an eye for quality fabrics, colour and style I see the beauty in something re-worked from otherwise discarded materials.

My inspiration is very much from the nostalgia and style of the bygone 1940's and 50’s eras, and those scrambles for second hand lovelies in the village hall with my mother.
